The league leaders Sylhet Strikers lost their last game against Rangpur Riders by eight wickets and thus, will be gunning to return back to winning ways, when they take on Khulna Tigers on February 8, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The Shai Hope-led side on the other hand has managed to win only two of their last ten league games and are already out of the qualification race. Thus, they will now play to improve their position in the league and would hope to finish the season on a high note.
Coming back to Strikers, opener Towhid Hridoy was fantastic, scoring 85 off 57 deliveries in the previous match. However, their bowling let the team down and that is where the Mushfiqur Rahim-led side needs to work. Overall, they have played some sensational cricket so far in the season and will be full of confidence against Khulna in their next match.

Probable best batter – Towhid Hridoy:
Opener Towhid Hridoy is playing some sensational cricket at the moment. The 22-year-old has scored 373 runs from nine matches so far and is also the leading run-scorer of the tournament. If he manages to continue in a similar fashion, Hridoy can eventually earn his debut cap for Bangladesh.
Probable best bowler – Rejaur Rahman Raja:
Rejaur Rahman Raja picked up 13 wickets from eight matches and is the joint second-leading wicket-taker of the tournament. The 23-year-old pacer was able to complement pace spearhead, Mohammad Amir, very well and now in his absence, Raja needs to take more responsibility.
