The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 got off to a marvellous start as Gujarat Titans defeated four-time champions Chennai Super Kings in the season opener at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With the tournament well underway, the fifth match of the IPL 2023 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore take on five-time champion Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore in a match that promises to be a cracker. Both teams will be desperate to get off to a winning start in the tournament.
Mumbai will be keen on improving upon their performances from the 2022 season, where they finished 10th in the points table. On the other hand, Bangalore have been consistently making it to the playoffs but have been unable to get their hands on the coveted title.
