Charlotte Dean shines with the ball

Chasing a revised target due to rain interruptions, New Zealand Women struggled to find momentum and managed only 42/5 in 6.4 overs before the match was called off. Brooke Halliday was the standout performer with 14 off 9 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup couldn’t withstand England’s tight bowling. Natalie Sciver, Lauren Bell, and Sophie Ecclestone each picked up a wicket, however it was Charlotte Dean, who was the standout bowler. She bowled an impressive spell of 2 wickets for just 3 runs in 1 over and went on to earn her the Player of the Match award.

Another thrilling win for England Women! 🌧️
