Samit Dravid, the 18-year-old son of legendary cricketer and former Indian head coach Rahul Dravid, has been selected for the India U-19 squad for the upcoming series against Australia. Following in the footsteps of his illustrious father, Samit’s recent rise highlights his potential as a promising young talent in the cricketing world.

Samit Dravid’s maiden India Under-19 call-up 

Samit Dravid’s inclusion in both the ODI and red-ball squads was confirmed on Saturday, August 31st when the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced two teams to represent India in the U-19 series against Australia. The series will see the young Indian cricketers play three white-ball matches in Puducherry followed by two red-ball games in Chennai. The series offers a key opportunity for Samit and his teammates to prove their mettle on an international stage.
