According to reports, Rinku acquired a grand property in the Golden Estate’s Ozone City in Aligarh. Social media is abuzz with a photo of Rinku and his family receiving the keys to their new home.

The KKR batsman and his family recently moved into their new residence, marking the occasion with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and pooja, followed by celebrating Diwali together in their new abode.

Rinku’s journey with KKR began in 2018 when he was initially bought for INR 50 lakh. While he didn’t receive many opportunities in the early seasons, his career took off in 2023 as he emerged as one of the team’s most reliable finishers, often leading KKR to victory in high-pressure situations.

KKR’s top retention choice for IPL 2025

Rinku’s retention fee has soared by 24 times since 2022 when he was signed for INR 55 lakh. For the forthcoming season, KKR have retained Rinku for INR 13 crore, making him the team’s top choice. Other players retained by KKR include West Indies all-rounders Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, and mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, each for INR 12 crore. Uncapped Harshit Rana and Ramandeep Singh will get INR 4 crore for representing the franchise in IPL 2025.
