The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are all set to host a star-studded event called the ‘RCB Unbox’ on Sunday, March 26 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The excitement has increased ten folds considering that former stars AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle will grace the event along with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli.

With the trio reuniting once again at their very own ground, it is surely set to take the crowd by storm and electrify the fans ahead of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The stadium has undergone an extensive renovation, including upgrades to the acoustics, lighting, and seating arrangements.

Furthermore, the authorities of the franchise have left no stones unturned to make the event a mega success. Notably, international singer and pop star Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar, and Aditi Singh Sharma are among artists who will light up the stage with their exciting performances in the event.

In addition to this, the event marks the start of the practice session for the entire team. This has been decided to give fans a unique opportunity to witness their favourite players from up close, who will take the field and begin their training session.

It is worth mentioning that both de Villiers and Gayle will officially be inducted into the RCB ‘Hall of Fame’. The franchise has decided to retire their respective jersey numbers ‘17’ and ‘333’ to honour the two legends.

It is understood that some of the members of the RCB Women’s team of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) too may grace the special event in Bengaluru. Besides this, the franchise will also officially unveil their kit for the forthcoming edition.

Notably, RCB will kickstart their season on Sunday, April 2 at home against five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians. The franchise plays six of their seven home games in April and will hope to make the most of the home advantage before heading to the away fixtures.
