In an intense encounter during the 21st match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024, Guyana Amazon Warriors secured a 30-run victory over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, with impressive performances from both bat and ball.

Ashmead Nedd cleans up Kevin Sinclair for a duck

The match began with Ashmead Nedd‘s stunning bowling performance. In the first over of the innings, Nedd bowled out Kevin Sinclair for a duck, setting the tone early for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Nedd, who was brought into the playing XI for this game, bowled a delivery at 101kph from around the wicket, targeting the stumps. Sinclair, attempting to cut a ball that had little room, misjudged the length. The ball skidded low, crashing into the off and middle stumps, sending Sinclair back to the pavilion after facing just three deliveries.
