ODI World Cup: 3 Ned players to watch out for in Game 45

India and Netherlands are all set to face each other in the 45th match of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. As these two teams prepare for this clash, let’s take a look at the top three Dutch players to watch out for in this match.

Colin Ackermann:

Colin Ackermann, the player Dutch fans were counting on to shine in the tournament due to his extensive experience in various franchises and leagues worldwide, has struggled to make an impact. 

Despite taking a few crucial wickets with his bowling, he has only managed to score one fifty with the bat. He has got a few starts in the event, but hasnt been able to convert them into a big knock. He will be looking to make a mark in Dutch’s last game of the tournament.

Bas de Leede:

Bas de Leede, a talented all-rounder, entered the tournament with high expectations following his outstanding performances in the qualifiers in Zimbabwe where he won the match single handeldly for his team, courtesy of his brilliant five wicket haul and a century in the same match. However, he has yet to make a significant impact in the tournament and will be eager to showcase his skills in the last match.

Scott Edwards:

Scott Edwards has been a standout performer for the Dutch, scoring crucial runs and displaying excellent wicket-keeping skills. His ability to handle spinners in the middle overs makes him a key player for his team. 

His decisions as a captain has also been quite good so far and with his decent captaincy and batting, he will be looking to lead his team from the front in their final match against India.
