Barcelona manager Xavi has been struggling to predict the winner of the Premier League with three contenders for the title: Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United. First-placed Arsenal are just two points ahead of Manchester City. Manchester United have emerged as the potential dark horse for the title.

Xavi takes his side Barcelona to Old Trafford for the game against the United in the Europa League Playoff on February 22. Both sides are locked at 2-2 following an alluring first leg at the Nou camp.

When asked to predict the winner of this season’s Premier League title, Xavi found it difficult to choose one out of the three.

“Arsenal, City, and United are going to have a very exciting last part of the season. They are all playing very well, they are all strong, but the league is very demanding, I couldn’t give a winner. I have a maximum of respect for these three teams,” said Xavi as quoted in Sporskeeda.

Arsenal had a remarkable season under Arteta as they are on the verge to lift the trophy for the first time since 2004. The Gunners suffered a 3-1 loss against Manchester City on February 15. Arsenal then clinched a 4-2 victory against Aston Villa last weekend. Meanwhile, City ended in a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United have been in tremendous form since the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The United won seven out of 10 matches, losing just one match against Arsenal, and a 2-1 win against the CityZens.

Meanwhile, Barcelona manager has also picked four players who could pose a serious threat to the opposition ahead of the Europa League clash, scheduled for tomorrow.

“He [Ten Hag] is very good, I like him a lot. He has built a team and is getting the best out of all his players. That speaks well of him. Tactically, he is very good and he handles the dressing room very well.”

“He is getting all the talent out of his players. You see [Jadon] Sancho, [Marcus] Rashford, the Portuguese guy [Bruno Fernandes]. And look how Fred is playing.”
