Antony from Manchester United has got himself into hot soup after he has been accused of assault. This happened after two women made the accusations public to the Brazilian media. One of the women who was Ingrid Lana made horrific claims that Antony banged her head against the wall after she refuted from having sex with him when she went to his house in England in 2022.

Another women, Rayssa de Freitas a law student who recently approached the police in 2022 in May on the grounds and claims that she had been physically assaulted by Antony when she made her way out of nightclub. This is the second spanner in the works for Antony as he was recently taken out of the Brazil squad. Currently investigations for allegations of sexual assault are underway, information on the allegations was brought out by Gabriela Cavallin.  Who was Antony’s former girlfriend.

“He tried to have a relationship with me and I didn’t want to. He pushed me against the wall, and I hit my head,” she told a TV  programme, according to excerpts posted on its website. “My purpose was just business. Arriving there, at his invitation, I realised that he had ulterior motives. I have never been anyone’s lover.” Lana said talking about the incident. She will also give a proper interview to Domingo Espectacular which is a Brazilian TV show over the incident.

Another report from the Brazilian newspaper Extra says that de Freitas filled a complaint on the grounds that she had been sexually assaulted by Antony and another woman. United have not commented on the allegations so far. On the claims furnished by Cavalin they said that the club has acknowledged allegations and they refused to give out any further comments on the issue without availability of new information coming in/

“I can calmly state that the accusations are false and that the evidence already produced and the other evidence that will be produced demonstrate that I am innocent of the accusations made. My relationship with Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal insults from both sides, but I never committed any physical aggression.” Antony wrote on Instagram over the accusations.
