Megha Tiwari from Chhattisgarh secured the silver medal with 160 points, followed by Amrutha Sivaram from Kerala with the bronze medal and 155 points. In the women’s 50-m open rifle prone championship, Megha Tiwari emerged victorious once again, scoring an impressive 70 points and clinching the gold medal. Deepthi and Amrutha both scored 66 points, earning them the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

IKF President affirms support for Women’s Pro Kabaddi League initiative
The President of the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF), Vinod K. Tiwary, has clarified that his organization fully supports the Women’s Pro Kabaddi League initiative, despite recent reports suggesting otherwise. Tiwary stated that the IKF has an exclusive contractual relationship with Disney-Star for the sport of kabaddi, and any initiative for a professional league for women by Star would be welcomed by the IKF.
