Towhid Hridoy was the standout performer with a brisk 37 not out off 25 balls, helping his team to take control in the middle overs. Litton Das and Mahmudullah also made valuable contributions with scores of 23 and 26, respectively.
Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled to defend their total, although Luke Jongwe managed to claim 2 wickets. However, the lack of support from other bowlers meant Bangladesh comfortably chased down the target with nine balls to spare.

Towhid Hridoy was named Player of the Match for his crucial knock, which decisively swung the match in Bangladesh’s favour.

Bangladesh have taken a commanding lead in the series, winning the first two matches. The first T20I saw them triumph by 8 wickets, and they continued their dominance in this second match. With the series progressing, Zimbabwe will need to regroup and rethink their strategy for the upcoming games.
