The second season of USA’s Major League Cricket (MCL) kicks off on July 5, just a week after the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and cricket fans are buzzing with anticipation.
On Tuesday, the official list of all international signings was disclosed by the MLC CEO Vijay Srinivasan in a media release.
Returning stars light up the league
Six MLC franchises were allowed to retain a total of 23 overseas players from the inaugural season. Here are some of the big names returning to enthral audiences:

Fresh faces joining the fray
A slew of Australian superstars including Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis are set to feature in the MLC this year.
“Signing a world-class player like Pat Cummins is a testament to the calibre of talent the league is attracting, underscoring our global impact and the success of the inaugural season,” said Srinivasan in a press release.
“It elevates the level of competition fans will get to see and experience on home soil and showcases our commitment to bringing the top-tier players in the world to play in America’s very own league,” he added.
