Accompanied by his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva, Dhoni attended the wedding in traditional attire, wearing a timeless bandh gala sherwani. Sakshi complemented him with a stunning suit, reflecting the couple’s deep cultural roots and the Ambani family’s taste for luxurious yet elegant celebrations.

Dhoni’s recent cricket endeavors

On the cricket field, Dhoni was last seen playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). This season marked a change as Dhoni did not lead the team, instead playing under the captaincy of young batting star Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Despite CSK not making it to the knockout stage, Dhoni impressed with his batting performances, scoring 161 runs in 14 matches at an average of 53.67, with a top score of 37. While Dhoni has not officially announced his retirement from the IPL, there is speculation that the upcoming season might be his last. Throughout his IPL career, Dhoni has amassed 5243 runs, including 24 half-centuries.
