Siechem Madurai Panthers edge past Chepauk Super Gillies

Siechem Madurai Panthers defeated Chepauk Super Gillies by nine runs in a thrilling 27th match of the TNPL 2024.

Batting first, Madurai Panthers posted a challenging total of 191/4 in their 20 overs. Suresh Lokeshwar was the star with the bat, scoring a fluent 55 off 40 balls. Jagatheesan Kousik’s unbeaten 43 off 24 balls provided the late impetus to the innings.

Chasing 192, Chepauk Super Gillies were off to a decent start but lost wickets regularly. They managed to keep themselves in the hunt but ultimately fell short, finishing at 182/8. Karthick Manikandan was the pick of the bowlers for Madurai, picking up three wickets for 23 runs.
