Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 13th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, April 9. After winning the first two games, Titans top the IPL 2023 points table while KKR are in third place.

Both teams are coming off with a win in the ongoing tournament. Gujarat defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets in their second match after winning the IPL 2023 opener against Chennai Super Kings. Kolkata, on the other hand, registered a massive 81-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore after losing their first game against Punjab Kings via the DLS method.

Sai Sudharshan, Gujarat Titans’ Impact Player in their IPL opener, has been crucial in both matches they have played so far. The 21-year-old scored an unbeaten 62 off 48 balls in GT’s match against Delhi and was named Player of the Match for his match-winning knock. Everyone, however, expects another magnificent knock from him in the forthcoming match against the two-time IPL champions.

KKR, on the other hand, are coming after delivering an outstanding effort against the three-time finalists in their previous match. They will also be hoping to prevail against the defending champions as well. The absence regular skipper Shreyas Iyer is their biggest setback. However, with their first win in the ongoing competition, they have demonstrated their strength and what they are capable of. Despite the fact that Gujarat Titans are favorites to win, the match promises to be entertaining for cricket fans all around the world.
