The action will continue in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as India (IND) and Pakistan (PAK) will take on each other in Match 12 on Saturday, October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. India got their campaign off to a great start as they beat Australia and Afghanistan in their first two games.

On the other hand, Pakistan also won their opening two games against Nederlands and Sri Lanka. Let’s delve into the top three Pakistani players to watch out for this game.

Babar Azam:

Babar Azam, the Pakistani captain, has had a disappointing start to the World Cup with below-par performances in the first two matches against Netherlands and Sri Lanka. Despite showing his true potential in the practice matches leading up to the tournament, Babar has struggled to find his form. However, considering his exceptional skills, he can single-handedly win games for his team and will be eager to regain his batting prowess in the highly anticipated clash against India. His performance will be crucial for Pakistan’s chances in this match.

Mohammad Rizwan:

Mohammad Rizwan has been a consistent performer for the Pakistani team in recent times. In the previous match against Sri Lanka, he played a remarkable innings, scoring a brilliant century to help his team chase down a challenging target. He has a decent record against the Indian team and will be another player to keep an eye on in this game.

Haris Rauf:

Haris Rauf, known for his raw pace and bounce, can pose a real threat to the Indian team in this match. The pitch at Ahmedabad, with its significant bounce, could support him as well. In the last game, Haris bowled an exceptional final over, taking two wickets and conceding only one run. He was also a key player in Pakistan’s victory against the Netherlands. Going forward, he could be another player to watch out for in this game.
