The final match of the Super Four stage will see the clash between team India and Bangladesh. The two teams will square off at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday, September 15. The two sides have had contrasting campaigns in the Super Four stage as team India have won both games and cruised to the final whereas Bangladesh endured back-to-back losses and have been eliminated. While the Bangla Tigers play for pride, the Men in Blue will look to keep their winning streak intact in their next game. With that said, we take a look at the top three players to watch out for-
3. Kuldeep Yadav
The left-arm wrist spinner has been at his lethal best with the ball during the ongoing Super Four. Having played four matches in the competition thus far, Kuldeep has racked up nine wickets and is the joint-most wicket-taker in the ongoing ACC event. Considering that he is well aware of the conditions at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Kuldeep will look to spin a web around the rival batting line-up and add more wickets under his belt.
2. Taskin Ahmed
Much like Kuldeep, Taskin has played a pivotal role in the bowling attack for the Bangla Tigers. He too has nine wickets in four appearances which includes one five-wicket haul. Taskin will be eager to come all guns blazing and put up a tough fight against the star-studded India batting order.
1. Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill relished a terrific game against Pakistan in their first game of the Super Four. However, he was dismissed swiftly in the match against the Lankan Lions for a paltry 19 runs. That said, Gill will look for an improved outing against Bangladesh and score big before turning his attention towards the high-voltage final. In addition to this, he is shorts of 96 runs to become the first batter to breach the 1,000-mark in ODIs this year.
