Gujarat Titans (GT) continued their impressive rise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, finishing fourth on the points table and once again proving their credentials as one of the most consistent franchises in the competition. They are known for their disciplined approach, strong core, and delivered solid performances with both bat and ball, often outplaying opponents through composure and execution rather than flamboyance.
With most of their key players firing last season, the franchise is unlikely to make drastic changes ahead of IPL 2026.
Here’s the predicted playing 11 of GT for IPL 2026 after auction
Top-Order: Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler, Kumar Kushagra

Shubman Gill is expected to continue leading Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026 after a highly successful campaign last season. The elegant right-hander scored 650 runs in 15 innings, showcasing remarkable consistency and leadership at the top of the order. Although Gill has faced a lean patch in international T20 cricket, the IPL has often brought out his best.
Sai Sudharsan will partner Gill at the top after enjoying a phenomenal IPL 2025, where he won the Orange Cap. The left-hander amassed 759 runs in 15 matches and impressed with his calm temperament and sound technique. Wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler is likely to slot in at No. 3. The experienced Englishman scored 538 runs in IPL 2025 and provided explosive starts and crucial middle-overs acceleration.
Jharkhand’s Kumar Kushagra is expected to take on the middle-order role for GT. Primarily a top-order batter in domestic cricket, Kushagra may be asked to adapt and bat during the middle overs for the Titans. He was the third-highest run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with 422 runs and has previous IPL experience, having been part of Delhi Capitals in 2024.
All-Rounders: Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan

Gujarat Titans boast one of the strongest all-rounder line-ups in the league. Washington Sundar is expected to play a key role, offering balance with both bat and ball. In his IPL career, Sundar has scored 511 runs and picked up 39 wickets, though his impact in IPL 2025 was limited. GT will hope for a stronger showing this season.
Rahul Tewatia remains a proven finisher for the side. With 1,112 runs and 32 wickets in the IPL, Tewatia has repeatedly delivered under pressure, particularly in tight chases. Jason Holder, GT’s new acquisition, adds further depth. The West Indies all-rounder last played in the IPL in 2023 but has since impressed in global leagues and international cricket. Rashid Khan will continue as the bowling all-rounder. Despite a below-par IPL 2025, Rashid’s overall record of 158 wickets and 585 runs makes him indispensable.
Bowler: Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna

The pace attack will be led by Kagiso Rabada, who has 119 IPL wickets to his name. After a disappointing 2025 season where he played only four matches, Rabada will be eager to rediscover his best form. Mohammed Siraj, who took 16 wickets last season, will play a crucial role, especially on bowling-friendly surfaces. Prasidh Krishna, the Purple Cap winner of IPL 2025 with 25 wickets, completes the attack and will look to continue his match-winning performances in IPL 2026.
Gujarat Titans predicted playing XI for IPL 2026:
Shubman Gill (C), Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler (WK), Kumar Kushagra, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna
