• Sanju Samson – Owing to a finger injury, Samson was brought in as an Impact Player in RR’s tournament opener. He looked in great touch during his 37-ball 66-run knock.  
• Wanindu Hasaranga – There’s no doubt about how much of a game-changer Hasaranga can be on his day. The Sri Lankan all-rounder can come on in the second innings if there is any indication of turn in the first innings.
• Kwena Maphaka – The 18-year-old could be a potent alternative for RR under lights. The left-arm Maphaka was impressive for Paarl Royals in the recent edition of SA20.
• Kunal Singh Rathore – The talented wicketkeeper-batter from Kota could be used as an option as someone who could provide a vital late punch to the innings. 
• Akash Madhwal – Madhwal is yet another medium pacer who has immense potential within him. The management could well and truly place their trust in him after a remarkable IPL 2024.  

Predicted Impact Players for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

• Manish Pandey – The 171-game-old IPL veteran could be brought into the mix if KKR lose a few early wickets inside the powerplay and need a boost in momentum.
• Luvnith Sisodia – The explosive top-order wicketkeeper-batter serves as a viable choice for the opening slot, if KKR bat in the second innings in particular. The budding talent is more than capable of striking some lusty blows up top.
• Moeen Ali – The former English all-rounder could prove to be a handful considering the sizeable number of left-handed batters RR are expected to field in their batting order.
• Chetan Sakariya – The talented left-arm seamer’s diverse variations can be effectively deployed by KKR if the need arises. Sakariya came in as an injury replacement for the sidelined Umran Malik.
• Vaibhav Arora – Vaibhav was brought on as an Impact Player in KKR’s first game of the tournament. However, he proved to be the most expensive bowler for the hosts. Even if unlikely, KKR’s think tank does have an option of going down that route again.
