England Women will square off against Sri Lanka Women for the third and final T20I at the County Ground in Derby on Wednesday, September 6. While England won their first T20I, the visiting team got back on level terms in the second fixture following a solid win by eight wickets. Both teams will be eager to clinch the series-decider clash before turning their attention towards the ODI series. With that said, we take a look at the top three England players to watch out for in the third T20I-
3. Heather Knight
Skipper Heather Knight compiled scores of an unbeaten 23 runs in the first T20I followed by a paltry 14 runs in the second. Despite this, she has the potential carve out vital knocks coming in the middle order to help her side get the big runs. She will look for an improved outing and score big in the third and final match at the County Ground.
2. Charlie Dean
Charlie Dean leaked 19 runs in her two overs at a dismal economy of 9.50 in the second T20I and failed to get any breakthroughs. During her first outing in the series, she got a solitary over and gave mere six runs and also got a wicket. On her day, she can comfortably get the breakthroughs for her side and maintain a fine economy. It remains to be seen if she would add the required threat with the ball in the upcoming match.
1. Alice Capsey
Alice Capsey slammed a stellar 51 runs off 27 balls, smoking three sixes and five boundaries in the first game and followed it with just three runs in the second. However, she also added a wicket in her account for 14 runs in her three overs in the second game to keep her side ahead. She will look to play a pivotal role in England’s game against Sri Lanka in the series-decider.
