India and Afghanistan will lock horns in the second T20I of the three-game series. The match will be contested at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on January 14, Sunday.
The Rohit Sharma-led side already took a 1-0 lead in the series, winning the opening game in Mohali by five wickets. The hosts will eye for a win in the second ODI to secure the series. Afghanistan, on the other hand, might bounce back in order to stay alive in the series.

Shivam Dube
Shivam Dube could be key for India in the second T20I against Afghanistan. The all-rounder played a pivotal role for the Men in Blue in the opening game. While chasing 159, Dube scored an unbeaten 60 off just 40 deliveries and helped his side win the game with 15 balls remaining. The 30-year-old who also picked a wicket in the first innings was later adjudged to the Player of the Match award.
Axar Patel
Axar Patel was the pick of bowlers for India in the first game. The spin all-rounder finished with excellent figures of 2/23, dismissing Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah. He is expected to carry forward his form in the forthcoming game and help his side win the second game.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Mujeeb Ur Rahman was instrumental for Afghanistan in the second innings. He picked up two wickets and conceded just 21 runs. He has got the wickets of Shubman Gill and Jitesh Sharma, respectively, who were looking firm at the crease. The right-arm spinner might enjoy another brilliant spell in the forthcoming game.
