The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is scheduled to begin on March 31 as fans wait to see arguably the world’s biggest T20 league in action once again. Over the years, it has been no secret that the all-rounders of the tournament have been an integral part of their respective franchises.
Whether that is Ravindra Jadeja from Chennai Super Kings, Ben Stokes, or Sam Curran, there have been several players who have been influential with the bat and the ball as well, and with the 2023 IPL right around the corner, let us have a look at the top three all-rounders to watch out for in this edition.
Sam Curran
Representing Punjab Kings in the IPL, English all-rounder Sam Curran would look for an impressive performance in the forthcoming edition as well. The 24-year-old has played 32 IPL matches so far, where he has managed to score 337 runs and has 32 wickets to his name as well. His performances could be key for PBKS in their quest for the first IPL title.
Jason Holder
One of the biggest signings of the 2023 IPL auctions, Rajasthan Royals roped in the Windies all-rounder Jason Holder. The ace all-rounder has played 38 matches in the tournament so far, where he has notched up 247 runs. He also has 49 wickets to his name which makes him a key player for RR in the 2023 season as they look to improve on their performances from the 2022 season where they lost the summit clash of the tournament.
Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes was roped in by Chennai Super Kings for a whopping INR 16.25 crore. The experienced English all-rounder will look to make an instant impact in the tournament. He has played 43 matches and has scored 920 runs and taken 28 wickets. His explosive batting and the ability to take crucial breakthroughs will come in real handy for the four-time champions.
