IPL 2023 final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. After the end of the first innings, the rain came pouring down, and it eventually shortened the game, but nevertheless, the MS Dhoni-led side played some brilliant cricket, chasing 171 runs in 15 overs in order to win their fifth final by five wickets (DLS method). Notably, ten runs were required in the last two deliveries as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja wreaked havoc, hitting a six and four off Mohit Sharma to secure the win.

Meanwhile, during CSK’s chase, BCCI secretary Jay Shah was spotted signalling that the ‘batter will now hit’, and the image of the same went viral on various social media platforms.
