The ‘El Clasico’ of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is back again as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) lock horns against each other on Saturday, May 06 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Super Kings beat MI by seven wickets when both sides met previously in the ongoing season in Mumbai.

Four-time winners, CSK have made a decent start to their ongoing campaign as they have played ten matches so far with five victories and four defeats. One game ended up with no result with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

With 11 points and a net run rate of +0.329, they are positioned third on the table. On the other hand, the most successful side of the league, MI have slowly managed to bounce back after a mixed start to their season.

Rohit Sharma’s side has played nine games with five wins and four losses. With ten points and an NRR of -0.373, they are placed in the sixth position on the table. (All standings till Match 47). MI, who are high on confidence after chasing scores of above 200 in their last two encounters, will be looking to register their third straight victory. Notably, they have also won their last five consecutive games against CSK on their visit to Chennai in the league.
