Notably, the T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to commence just five days after the IPL’s conclusion, beginning in the West Indies and USA on May 31.
However, India‘s inaugural match in the World Cup is slated for June 5, giving players a much needed nine-day break. The tentative schedule, discussed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with stakeholders, outlines the WPL’s second season from February 22 to March 17. The official announcement of these dates is expected shortly.
