In the upcoming clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Mumbai Indians (MI) are poised to take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the first time in this lucrative league. KKR are enjoying a stellar IPL season, holding the second spot in the team standings with 12 points in their bag.
A major contributing factor to their success in this edition of the IPL is the exceptional form of their star all-rounder, Sunil Narine. Narine has been a standout performer for KKR, delivering impressive performances with both bat and ball.
Despite his on-field excellence, Narine is typically known for maintaining a serious demeanour, rarely seen smiling or laughing. However, prior to the highly anticipated match between MI and KKR, Suryakumar Yadav did the unthinkable task by bringing a smile to Narine’s face.
Suryakumar Yadav makes Sunil Narine laugh by mimicking him
The official social media account of MI shared a video showcasing Suryakumar and Narine. The former teammates from KKR engaged in a light-hearted exchange during their practice session at the Wankhede Stadium. The video captured Suryakumar playfully picking up one of Narine’s bats and mimicking his century celebration. Suryakumar perfectly replicated Narine’s mannerisms from his memorable maiden IPL hundred celebration against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Kolkata’s Eden Garden Stadium.
Narine, amused by Suryakumar’s accurate portrayal, couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Following this, they shared a warm hug and enjoyed the fun-filled interaction.
