In pursuit of a challenging target of 211 runs, LSG’s innings got off to a rocky start with Quinton de Kock departing for a duck. Nevertheless, KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis steadied the ship with a cautious yet effective partnership. De Kock’s departure brought Stoinis to the crease, who then took the game by storm. Stoinis unleashed a barrage of boundaries and sixes, decimating the CSK bowling attack with his aggressive strokeplay.
