Pakistan have announced their playing XI for the first ODI against Australia, set to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Monday, November 4. The match marks a significant moment for two young talents, Muhammad Irfan Khan and Saim Ayub, who are poised to make their debuts in the 50-overs format.

Muhammad Irfan Khan: The 21-year-old has been in impressive form domestically, showcasing his capabilities with bat in the recent domestic circuit. He averages more than 57 in First Class cricket.

Saim Ayub: A promising left-handed batter, Ayub has been recognized for his aggressive style and ability to anchor the innings, making him a valuable addition to the Pakistan line up.

This ODI is part of a three-match series against Australia, where Pakistan aims to build momentum ahead of the 2025 Champions Trophy.
