On her picture from the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, one of the Instagram users wrote, “Gill ke sang bhabhi wapas aa gyi (Bhabhi returns with Gill)“.
“Gill ke saath India wapas aana hua kya? (Have you returned to India alongwith Shubman?)“ commented the other.
“Bhabhi, Shubman ke sang kab shaadi kar rhi ho? (When are you marrying Shubman?), wrote the Gill fan.
“Ab jald hi, Gill bhaiya se shaadi kar lo bhabhi,” commented other with a loved up smiley.
These remarks were made due to ongoing rumours about a possible romantic link between Sara and Shubman, a topic that has captivated fans for some time despite no official confirmation from either party.
Sara’s return coincides Gill’s departure to India from the ongoing T20 World Cup. Gill and Avesh Khan, the two reserve players, have been released from the Indian squad and sent back ahead of the start of the Super 8s.
The remaining two players, Rinku Singh and Khaleel Ahmed, will stay with the team till the end of the tournament and may even find a place in the final 15 in case of an injury among the group members.
