Their revelations came during a special Eid show hosted by former pacer Wahab Riaz, where they discussed various aspects of the game alongside Naseem Shah.

Mohammad Rizwan picks the Indian superstar as his choice

Pakistan’s ODI skipper Rizwan reflected on his journey in international cricket, highlighting how the challenges have evolved over time. Early in his career, Rizwan found Australia’s Josh Hazlewood particularly difficult to face due to his consistent line and length. However, as he progressed in his career, India’s Jasprit Bumrah emerged as the most formidable bowler for him.

“When I started playing international cricket, I felt Josh Hazlewood was the toughest I faced. But now it is Jasprit Bumrah,” Rizwan stated.

Notably, Bumrah’s precision and ability to deliver under pressure have made him one of the most feared bowlers in world cricket, and Rizwan’s acknowledgment underscores this reputation.

Fakhar Zaman goes with England pacer as his choice

Fakhar, Pakistan’s prolific opening batter, offered a nuanced perspective on the toughest bowlers he has faced. He emphasized that conditions play a significant role in determining which bowlers pose the greatest challenge. In seaming conditions, England’s Jofra Archer has troubled him the most, particularly with the new ball.

“I can tell you according to the conditions. But I feel it was difficult to face Jofra Archer with the new ball,” Fakhar remarked during the show.

However, in a separate interview, Fakhar identified his compatriot Mohammad Amir as the toughest bowler he has ever faced. He praised Amir for his ability to control line and length rather than relying solely on pace.
