South Africa have officially announced their squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, with Laura Wolvaardt appointed as the captain. The tournament is set to take place from October 3 to October 20, 2024, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), following a shift from its original host, Bangladesh, due to security concerns.

Tournament details

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be hosted across two venues in the UAE: the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium. This edition marks the ninth edition of the tournament, which has seen South Africa as a finalist on previous occasion. The team will be eager to build on its past performances and contend for the title against formidable opponents.
