Rajasthan’s innings began with a rocky start as they lost their opener, Sachin Yadav, for just 4 runs. This early setback put pressure on the batting side, but Tomar quickly took charge, showcasing his class and composure. His aggressive yet calculated approach helped stabilize the innings, allowing him to build partnerships that would prove crucial.

Tomar found an ideal ally in Lomror, and together they formed a formidable partnership. Tomar’s ability to find gaps and rotate the strike kept the scoreboard moving, while Lomror complemented him with his own attacking play. The duo’s partnership flourished, pushing the total past 180 runs before Lomror was dismissed for 60.

Despite losing Deepak Hooda shortly after, Tomar continued to anchor the innings with his resilient knock. He reached his century with a flurry of boundaries, bringing excitement to the Rajasthan camp. However, he eventually fell to Varun Chakaravarthy after scoring 111 runs off 125 balls.

In the latter stages of the innings, Kartik Sharma contributed a steady 35 runs, while all other batters failed towards the end. Rajasthan finished their innings at 267 runs bundling out in 47.3 overs. This competitive total set a challenging target for Tamil Nadu as they prepared to chase down the runs in pursuit of victory.
