Dunith Wellalage also contributed a crucial fifty-run partnership for the 6th wicket to pull Colombo out of trouble. Mohammed Hasnain was outstanding with the ball for the Falcons, taking three crucial wickets, while Wanindu Hasaranga picked up two wickets while conceding only 21 runs in his four overs.
In the Kandy Falcons’ chase, the team was in trouble at 83 for 6. However, Kamindu Mendis and Dasun Shanaka combined for a match-winning partnership to guide the Falcons to victory.
