As Evin Lewis tapped a good-length delivery to the right of Joseph and called for a quick single, Joseph sprinted towards the ball, picked it up in one motion, and delivered a laser-accurate throw to the stumps.

Shimron Hetmyer powers Guyana Amazon Warriors to a decent total

Earlier in the match, Guyana Amazon Warriors’ captain Shimron Hetmyer led from the front, smashing 63 off 33 balls, including 4 boundaries and 5 towering sixes. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Hetmyer’s aggressive innings kept the Warriors in the hunt for a respectable total. His counter-attacking approach frustrated the Patriots’ bowlers, as he single-handedly pushed Guyana to 137/8 in their allotted 20 overs.

Ashmead Nedd was the standout bowler for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, picking up 4 wickets for 25 runs, but Hetmyer’s knock proved to be the backbone of Guyana’s innings.
