After the match against Super Kings was abandoned, the Sunrisers faced off against Super Giants in their second game. Despite the batters showcasing excellence with the bat, Sunrisers lost the game by 35 runs. Tom Abell and Tristan Stubbs scored 65 and 55, respectively, while chasing a 225-run target set by the Super Giants.
The pitch in Cape Town is generally known as a balanced one which provides equal assistance to both batters and bowlers. The fast bowlers are the ones who are expected to receive more benefits. As per the previous records, chasing seems easy at this venue and therefore the toss-winning captain is likely to choose bowling first. Additionally, fans can anticipate a high-scoring encounter.
