In a noteworthy instance during the Capitals’ chase, on the first ball of the seventh over, bowled short down the leg-side at pace by Keemo Paul, Jacks executed a swivel and effortlessly smacked the ball over backward square leg. Capitals falter in a nail-biter against Giants
Despite that firecracker of Jacks not being enough for Capitals to win, as no other batter could reach the 20 runs mark. Junior Dala, the medium pacer for the Giants, wreaked havoc in his four-over spell, dismantling half of the Capitals’ batting order. Wiaan Mulder, Naveen and Noor Ahmed also chipped in with a wicket each. While Captain Keshav Maharaj and Paul remained wicketless, the Capitals fell eight runs short of the target.
