The 10th edition of the PKL has been so unpredictable. The teams have been so evenly matched that no team could be predicted as the sure shot winners before the match. The matches have been close and some of the matches have taken unreal turns. In many instances, the teams that were predicted to be the winners ended up losing by huge margins.

In one such match, Bengal Warriors emerged victorious against Telugu Titans. The former champions beat Titans by a big margin of 46-26 to return to winning ways. Before the match, Bengal were on a losing streak of 4 matches. It was a good way to make a comeback, as they won by a huge margin. It boosted their points difference and helped them to claim the much required momentum.

The fact that Bengal managed to win without their star raider and captain, Maninder Singh, shows how dominating they were in the game. In the first 4 minutes, Warriors claimed an All-out and had a lead of 10-4 in the match. Both the raiding and defensive units of the Titans failed in the match. They were literally carried by Pawan Sehrawat, who was not even at his best in the match.

Poor run of Telugu Titans continues

Barring Pawan, there were no positives for Titans in the match. Though he claimed a super 10, it came when the match was almost done and dusted. Vaibhav had the better of Pawan for most parts, as he claimed a total of 9 tackle points in the match. 6 of them came in the first half itself. At the end of the first half, Bengal had a massive lead of 27-10. From that point, staging a comeback was close to impossible.

In the second half, the Titans performed better. In the 33rd minute of the match, the South Indian club managed to gain the first All-out of the match. But things were already out of their hands. Bengal continued to dominate the game despite the efforts of Pawan and co. At one stage, the score line was 33-24. But Bengal roared back and claimed 13 points, conceded only 2 points from there to finish the match on a high.
