After a four-year break and two seasons this year, the UP Yoddhas returned to their home base in Noida during the Pro Kabaddi League season 10. It was surely a joyous occasion for the fans, as Kabaddi seemed to be emerging victorious in the end.

When the Pro Kabaddi League season 10 Noida leg was held in the Noida Indoor Stadium for the first time, a record crowd of Kabaddi fans showed up to celebrate the game’s spirit and see their favourite teams play.

The first four nights of the Noida leg, which began on December 29, 2023, will come to an end on January 3, 2024. The venue had over 90% occupancy, giving Kabaddi enthusiasts in Delhi NCR the best possible start to the new year.

Sujoy Ganguly, Marketing Head, GMR League Games, spoke about the success of the league during the home leg of UP Yodhas. He said, “We are overwhelmed to see how the fans have come out in full strength to celebrate Kabaddi in Noida. This is a testimony to how the sport is loved and celebrated in this part of the country. As a team, we are grateful to our fans who have left no stone unturned to support their team, and I look forward to their continued support not just for the next few days but also the season ahead.”

UP Yoddhas defeated Bengaluru Bulls 34–33 to open their home leg with an amazing win. With the most points (10) during the game, skipper Pardeep Narwal guided the squad from the front.

Nevertheless, despite Captain Pardeep Narwal’s outstanding efforts, the Yoddhas lost their next two games against Dabang Delhi K.C. and Patna Pirates and are now ninth in the rankings with 21 points. They would be hoping for a turnaround in their final home game of the season today against Puneri Paltan.
