This year, as the Pro Kabaddi League approaches the conclusion of its historic tenth season, it’s time to commemorate the incredible voyage. During the course of MVP’s Special Memories multimedia series, PKL will be reflecting on some of the most significant moments as we approach the historic edition. The Most Valuable Player Award winners will each give a speech discussing how PKL has impacted their personal life.
Pardeep Narwal, a highly adored kabaddi player in the nation, is a lethal raider who consistently scores a lot of points each season. Having 1568 raid points from 153 matches, Pardeep is presently the raider holding the highest raid points in history.
They have retained Narwal for the upcoming season. Narwal played for the U.P. Yoddhas in Season 9. He said, “PKL over the last 9 years has really changed our lives and careers. PKL has helped and ensured that more people now know about us, and it has given us a lot.”
Considering the prior seasons, Narwal, who won the Most Valuable Player title in both Seasons 4 and 5. The raider added, “Season 10 should be a massive milestone and we all expect the tournament to be a great one. This is a big year for the tournament, and it is fantastic that we will be going back to all the 12 cities during the competition.”
Narwal joined the PKL in Season 2, and since then, he has delighted fans and regularly taken the defence by surprise. Narwal scored 133 points in Season 4, but he really turned it up the following season, finishing with a total of 369 points—all of which were scored through attacking plays. Since then, Narwal hasn’t truly looked back and has emerged as one of the competition’s most potent raiders.
The Pro Kabaddi League’s tenth edition is scheduled to kick off in Ahmedabad on December 2, 2023.
