Puneri Paltan have been on an absolute roll in the ongoing 10th edition of the PKL. The finalists of the 9th season are not just beating their opponents for fun but doing it in a dominant way. Their latest game against Gujarat Giants was a perfect example of it. Right from the word go, Puneri Paltan dominated the game and gave absolutely no chance for the Giants whatsoever.
It was the trio of Aslam Inamdar, Mohamadreza Shadloui Chianeh, and Gaurav Khatri that stepped up for Paltan yet again like they have been doing for all the season. While Aslam claimed yet another Super 10, Khatri and Chianeh claimed a High 5 and impressed the fans. In the very first minute of the match, Paltan showed their intent. They were off to a 5-point lead soon.
Paltan dismissed the Giants for the first All-out of the match and claimed a lead of 16-7. By the end of the first half, one could have predicted the results. Despite the presence of a star player like Fazel Atrachali, Giants seemed ordinary against Paltan. The Paltan continued their dominance in the game even in the second half. All their players stepped up as usual.
Paltan inflicted the second All-out of the match and claimed a lead of 28-10. By then, the game was done and dusted. What followed was the wastage of time from Paltan. Whenever Giants attacked to claim points, Paltan retaliated by claiming points. It was as if Paltan knew exactly what they were doing, and Gujarat were not able to do anything about it.
The Giants tried hard. They were almost on the brink of third All-out of the match. However, their defenders did well to stop their side from further disappointment. They claimed super tackles after super tackles and helped the side to not get dismissed. That, however, did not stop Paltan from claiming a 37-17 win. It was their 8th win in a row in the 10th edition of the biggest Kabaddi league.
