For the first time in 4 years, Mumbai will be hosting Kabaddi matches in the biggest league in the sport. In the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2023/24, Mumbai will be hosting a handful of matches in the tenth edition of the league. For the first time since 2019, the home-and-away format has retired to the league. Mumbai would be playing its first game at home in more than 4 years.

The 10th edition of the league did not start on a good note for U Mumba. In their first 3 matches, U Mumba managed to win only one game. But at the moment, Mumba look in stunning form with 5 wins to their name in the first 7 games. U Mumba will be playing 4 games at home and would be hoping to make the most of the home advantage. 

Additionally, Mumbai would be hosting 7 other matches. A total of 11 matches will be hosted by NSCI in PKL 10. U Mumba has some very good players who are in form. The likes of Rinku, Sombir, and Mahender Singh have ensured a good defensive unit for the side. The Iranian Zafardanesh has been the standout player for the side. The youngster has claimed 64 raid points for the side.

U Mumba eyes to make most of home conditions

The 19-year-old would be hoping to repeat the good performances at the home leg. Surinder Singh has led U Mumba well both as a captain and as a raider. Guman Singh and Vishwanath have been impressive as well. U Mumba became the first team to win 100 matches in the PKL. The CEO of the club, Suhail Chandhok, wished to see U Mumba making the most of the home advantage.

Suhail expressed his happiness in playing in front of his crowd. Likewise, the coach Mazandarani hoped to give the best performance in front of the home crowd.
