Jitesh began his IPL career with the Punjab Kings in 2022. He even captained the side on a few occasions and showed flashes of his big-hitting ability and sharp glovework. However, his move to RCB turned out to be a game-changer.
In 2025, Jitesh played a crucial finisher’s role for RCB. He scored important runs at a brisk strike rate, including a quick 24 off 10 balls in the final, and his keeping was equally impressive. He followed it up with a more positive note, saying “We will try to win again,” referring to RCB’s defence of the title.
