Pandya’s all-round brilliant performance

Pandya delivered an all-round masterclass, scoring 22 runs in just nine balls with a strike rate of 244.44, including three fours and one six. His quickfire innings added crucial runs to the scoreboard. Not just with the bat, Pandya also shone with the ball, taking two wickets in his two-over spell. His victims included the dangerous Kamindu Mendis, who was the top scorer for Sri Lanka with 53 runs off 34 balls, hitting six fours and two sixes.

India secures series victory over Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka managed to post a total of 161/9 in their 20 overs. However, the rain-affected second innings saw India’s target revised to 78 runs in eight overs, according to the DLS method. India chased down the target with ease, finishing at 81/3 in just 6.3 overs.

Ravi Bishnoi was India’s standout performer. His impressive bowling spell saw him take three wickets while maintaining an economy rate of 6.50 over four overs. Bishnoi’s efforts earned him the well-deserved Player of the Match award.
