Rhodes acknowledged Raina’s enthusiasm and commitment on the field, noting, “I am a big fan of Suresh Raina. I enjoyed his playing days but now he has retired. In the past in India, the cricketing infrastructure wasn’t there to support the passion and love for cricket. Suresh Raina was someone who used to throw himself around the field.” Rhodes’ admiration for Raina underscores the latter’s impact as a fielder and his contribution to Indian cricket.

Rhodes names the complete all-round fielder in the world

Rhodes praised Ravindra Jadeja as a “next level” fielder, emphasizing that while Jadeja might not rely on diving as often, his speed and agility in reaching the ball are exceptional. Rhodes highlighted Jadeja’s precise and accurate throws to the stumps, likening his precision to that of Ricky Ponting. Additionally, he commended Jadeja for his versatility, noting that he excels both on the boundary and in the circle, making him a comprehensive and highly effective all-round fielder.

“I think Jadeja is at the next level, he doesn’t dive as much but he is so fast to the ball. And his accuracy at throwing down the stumps is somewhat like Ricky Ponting. He fields on the boundary, he fields on the circle. He is a complete all-round fielder,” added Rhodes.

Rhodes’ endorsement of Jadeja highlights the Indian cricketer’s versatility and precision, solidifying his reputation as one of the finest fielders in the modern game.
