During London Spirit’s chase, Ashleigh Gardner, the star Australian all-rounder for the Rockets, delivered a brilliant bowling performance that significantly hampered the Spirit’s efforts. She began her impactful spell by dismissing Spirit opener Georgia Redmayne with a remarkable delivery.
On the 22nd ball of the Spirit’s innings, Gardner came round the wicket and bowled a seemingly innocuous delivery targeting the leg stump.
