India clinches inaugural World Championship of Legends

During the final, Pathan’s contributions were instrumental in India’s triumph. He remained not out at a crucial stage of the match, scoring 5 runs in the second innings. Additionally, Pathan’s bowling performance was stellar, as he took one wicket in his three overs, conceding only 12 runs with an economy rate of 4. His pivotal moment came when he dismissed Pakistan Champions’ captain Younis Khan, who had scored just 7 runs at the time.

India emerged victorious in the inaugural World Championship of Legends, chasing down Pakistan’s target of 157 runs in the 20th over of the second innings. The Indian team reached a score of 159/5, largely propelled by Ambati Rayudu‘s stellar knock of 50 runs off 30 balls, boasting a strike rate of 166.67.
