Sandeep Warrier delivered a full ball onto the middle and leg, which Sathvik chipped down the ground. Ravichandran Ashwin, stationed at mid-on, dived low to his left and completed an extraordinary catch, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Sathvik departed after scoring 16 runs off 19 balls, including three boundaries.

Ashwin excels with the bat in his team’s triumphant run-chase
IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans were bowled out for a modest total of 108 runs in 19.4 overs, setting the Dindigul Dragons a target of 109 runs. The Dragons’ chase was swift and decisive. They reached the target in just 10.5 overs, finishing with 112 for the loss of only one wicket.
Ashwin led the charge with a blazing innings of 69 runs off just 30 balls, which included 11 fours and three sixes, boasting an impressive strike rate of 230. His outstanding performance with both bat and ball, including a wicket in his four-over spell, was pivotal in securing the win.
On the bowling front, P Vignesh delivered a standout performance for the Dragons. He took three wickets for just eight runs in his four overs, maintaining an economy rate of 2. His efforts were recognized as he was named the Player of the Match.
