New Zealand demolished Pakistan so far in the ongoing five-match series. Despite some of the key players missing, the hosts had no problem in dealing with the Shaheen Shah Afridi-led side as they are currently leading 4-0 in the series. For Pakistan, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have done well in bits and pieces as consistency has been a major issue.

Meanwhile, New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell has opted out of the fifth T20I of the series. Along with Glenn Phillips, the 32-year-old built a 139-run partnership in the fourth T20I, helping the team win by seven wickets. Rachin Ravindra has been called in as his replacement and is likely to play a part, especially when there’s uncertainty regarding Devon Conway.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will have to pull up their socks. Their new batting order hasn’t made any impact so far and that’s a concern ahead of the T20 World Cup. Overall, another great match is on the cards and here are the three players that can create the maximum impact:

3. Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan showed his class in the fourth T20I at Hagley Oval. Opening the innings, the 31-year-old made 90* runs off 63 deliveries and helped the team post 158 runs on board. When all the other batters were struggling, Rizwan kept calm and played an important knock but despite so, he couldn’t help his team get the win.

2. Glenn Phillips

Glenn Phillips smashed 70* runs off 52 deliveries in the last match. He is someone who can snatch the game away from the opponent’s hand and can prove to be extremely dangerous in the middle. If he manages to keep up with the form, it will be another long night for Pakistan.

1. Finn Allen

Even though Finn Allen hasn’t been able to put up a show in the last match, he has been delivering on a consistent basis. In four matches so far in the series, the cricketer smacked 253 runs at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 207.37 and with that, he is currently the leading run-scorer of the series.
