Earlier, Akash had received a special gift from Virat Kohli—a bat, which he proudly displayed in a social media post, thanking the star batter. On Day 4 of the Test, Akash came out to bat and made a statement, using Kohli’s bat to smash two consecutive sixes off Shakib Al Hasan’s bowling. Kohli, seated in the dugout, couldn’t contain his laughter and was visibly enjoying the moment, as were captain Rohit Sharma and the rest of the Indian team.
